Atelier de Bijouterie may date from 1887 or 1888 (although it was formerly considered to date from 1892/1893).
It is the same size as Archway, Brussels 344 and close to several other plates including York Street, Westminster 382, Fishing Quay, Ostend 351, The Courtyard, Brussels 345 and Passages de l'Opéra 386, all of which date from 1887 or 1888.
Although the butterfly signatures written in pencil on some impressions suggest a slightly later date, this may only indicate that they were printed or sold later.
