With fine drypoint shading added along the horizon line at centre and above some rooftops at left; with additions to the bowsprits and lines on the central ship and on the hulls behind the ship at the extreme right.
State 3
Near vertical and diagonal drypoint lines are added under the central clouds.
One impression, reproduced below, was worked over extensively in pen and ink.
