Only one exhibition is recorded in Whistler's lifetime. Howard Mansfield (1849-1938) lent an impression - the only one recorded - to the exhibition organised by the Caxton Club in Chicago in 1900 (). 11

Howard Mansfield (1849-1938) owned an impression which has not been located. 13 It looks as if it was signed with a butterfly dating from about 1887 (). No other impressions have been located.
