Impressions taken from this plate (26) |
The copper plate is very close in size to Battersea Reach 096. Both copper plates bear the rectangular stamp: 'HUGHES AND KIMBER / MANUFACTURERS / RED LION PASSAGE / FLEET STREET / LONDON'.
The plate was given by Rosalind Birnie Philip (1873-1958) to the University of Glasgow in 1935. It was cancelled posthumously with a diagonal line across the lower right corner.
