TECHNIQUE
It is lightly drawn both in etching and drypoint, and is unfinished.
PRINTING
This is only one print of the etching before cancellation, a clear impression printed in black ink on cream laid kozo paper ( ). Then there are three impressions from the lightly cancelled plate, or from a plate cancelled but then having the diagonal cancellation lines almost entirely removed (i.e. , ), including one on ivory laid paper with the 'DEDB' and beehive watermark ().
There may have been a print-run of about twenty from the cancelled plate (i.e. , printed in black ink on cream laid paper with a partial horned crown watermark).
