DESCRIPTION
On the left is the outline of the top of a building with a sloping roof. On the right is a row of steep-roofed three- and four-storey houses, receding into the distance towards the left, some with upper floors projecting over the street. The building at extreme right has a row of low arched windows in a balcony along the top floor. Three buildings to its left is a house with two rows of dormer windows in the roof. Immediately to left of that, a house has bay windows projecting further out on each storey.
SITE
Possibly a street in Alsace, which is in eastern France, on the west bank of the Upper Rhine, adjoining Germany and Switzerland.
