SALES & COLLECTORS
The price asked by Whistler remained constant at £5.5.0. He	sold  impressions on 27 July  and 24 August 1887				to Messrs Dowdeswell, London print dealers and publishers. 8  He	sold one on 3 May 1888 to Ross Revillon Winans (1850-1912), through Wunderlich & Co., New York, and another on  2 July 1888					 to Frederick Keppel (1845-1912) of F. Keppel & Co. 9  
An impression was sold at the auction of the collection of the late Joshua Hutchinson Hutchinson (ca 1829 - d.1891) at Sotheby's, 3 March 1892 (lot	305)	and bought by Edmund F. Deprez (1851-1915) of Deprez & Gutekunst for £1.4.0.
