TECHNIQUE
Bohemians is mainly etching with light drypoint shading. There is the mark of a vise, used to hold the plate, across the upper right corner.
PRINTING
There was a limited print-run. Three impressions were printed in black ink on ivory laid paper (

), possibly with a crowned 'GB' watermark (
), followed by two in dark brown ink on cream laid paper (

). All were trimmed to the platemark and signed on a tab with a butterfly and 'imp.' to show that Whistler had printed them.
