PRINTING
There may have been a print-run of about ten impressions. Of these, three are from the first state - a touched proof in black ink on off-white wove paper (
), an impression in warm brown/black ink on ivory 'modern' (post-1800) laid paper (
) and another in black on a medium-weight laid paper (
). The final state was printed in black on ivory (
) and tan (
) chine appliqué.
